Divisions were determined by (1) placing schools that were significantly closer to one regional site or the other in the closest regional, then (2) distributing teams that were roughly equidistant to achieve equal balance between the two divisions, based on teams’ records in the last three state competitions (weighing recent performance more heavily).

If your team no longer plans to compete this year, please let me know as soon as possible, as cancellations affect the number of courtrooms and judges we will need at the tournaments.

Both tournaments will have two rounds (morning and afternoon) on Saturday, February 2nd, and two rounds (morning and afternoon) on Sunday, February 3rd. Detailed schedules will be released in the next few days.

Please note.  There will be some minor updates to the Rules of Competition and Rules of Evidence posted in the next few weeks. Also, if you haven’t already done so, please follow @kymocktrial on Twitter for updates and pairings and logistical information during this year’s tournaments. Thanks!
